We are pleased to announce our Holiday production for the Fall 2009 Semester!
Both classes will be rehearsing and performing A Place in the Christmas Choir, by Alan Billingsley and John Jacobson.
“Fa, la, la, la, la…” Santa’s in the midst of rehearsing the elves, the Christmas Cats, a flock of Calling Birds, and a motley crew of bell-ringing reindeer in the Christmas Choir, when “Arrrrgh!” What’s that awful sound?! Happy the Hound Dog is lending his howl to the chorus. With original songs and dances, Happy the Hound dog and his friends help us to learn a special holiday message: that each of us has a special gift to share.
We hope you join us on October 6th when we start rehearsals! Visit our registration page today!

Thank you for visiting the Northwest Youth Theatre website! All of us at NYT have a commitment to bringing exciting performing arts opportunities to young people. We have seen the growth that occurs as shy children learn that their thoughts and contributions really matter—or as a child who has trouble with school work discovers they have real talent as a singer or actor. These moments of self-discovery fuel the desire of NYT instructors to keep sharing the joys of music, dance and drama with kids.
Please take a minute to look around the website. You’ll meet the instructors, get a feel for our philosophy, find out what programs are coming up and see how students, teachers and families feel about our work.
